I am Lodovica Guarnieri, designer and researcher. My practice grapples with technoscience as it relates to environmental and social justice, coloniality and climate change. Through performance and installation I interrogate the technical and political production of nature as contested sites of power, as well as sites of resistance to dominant narratives.

Currently, I am research resident of Non-Extractive Architecture, at v-a-c Foundation, Venice, and I am part of the Caravan Residency Program: Thinking with Alexandria, founded by the European Union.

In the past, I have worked on exhibitions at the Lisbon Architecture Triennale, Bureau Europa, Stroom Den Haag, Manifesta 12 and Van Abbemuseum, and I was part of the research project Hostile Environment(s).

I hold an MA with distinction from the Centre for Research Architecture, Goldsmiths University of London; an MDes in Social Design from Design Academy Eindhoven, The Netherlands; and a BA cum laude from Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Milan, Italy.
